Cancer Survivorship Training for Healthcare Professionals

Online and mobile Cancer Survivorship Training (CST) courses teach healthcare professionals about assessment, education, intervention, and coordination of care for issues related to cancer. Healthcare professionals can collaborate through the CST online community.

The Every Woman Counts Training Center

The Training Center, developed by The Every Woman Counts program, is designed to provide professionals with patient education materials, clinical tools for screening/diagnosis, national sources relating to breast cancer, and a comprehensive link library.

Focus Under Forty

Myriad Genetics, Inc. offers the BRACAnalysis test for hereditary and ovarian cancer and an online BRCA Risk Calculator. They offer testing free of charge to uninsured individuals that meet eligibility criteria.

A virtual library on breast cancer survivorship for primary care providers, including literature from all the professional disciplines involved in breast cancer care.

Young Survival Coalition

This site provides resources and tools for providers such as an audio/video library, information on clinical trials, and recent research on young survivors.

Mississippi's Young Breast Cancer Survivor Network

Young women with breast cancer face unique issues. And in the South, there are more young women overall facing breast cancer. In Mississippi, young African-American women are significantly more likely to suffer from breast cancer.

That is why SurvivMISS is here. Part of the Gulf States Young Breast Cancer Survivor Network, SurviveMISS's mission is to help improve the quality of life for young breast cancer survivors, as well as their family and friends, by providing continuing resources and support.
